Coaching Pathways Grow in the Wheatbelt
On Sunday 10 August, Equestrian WA continued its commitment to regional development with a Regional Coaching Clinic for Emerging, Introductory, and Level 1 coaching accreditations.
Hosted at the Eastern Wheatbelt Riding Club and led by highly respected Coach Educator Liz Tollarzo, the day provided a valuable opportunity for aspiring coaches to gain practical experience, refine their skills, and work towards their official accreditation.
A special congratulations goes to the Wheatbelt’s own Emma Crofts, who completed her riding assessments and horse management components in preparation for her Introductory Level Coaching Accreditation. Emma’s dedication and willingness to learn shone through on the day, and she left with valuable insights and tools to take into her future coaching work.
Emma’s achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a boost for equestrian sport in the Wheatbelt. As she continues her coaching journey, her knowledge and skills will help inspire, support, and develop riders in the region, ensuring more opportunities for local growth and participation.
This initiative was delivered as part of Equestrian WA’s Regional Servicing Program, proudly supported by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS) and our Regional Education Partner, Milne Feeds.
We wish Emma every success as she takes the next steps in her coaching pathway — and we look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make in her community.
