Marketing and Partnerships Manager

How you will assist us in growing our sport

Based at the State Equestrian Centre, the Marketing and Partnerships Manager position is a full-time role which is varied and diverse. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Promote the aims and objectives of Equestrian WA, within the equestrian and general community 
  • Pursue diverse income sources so we are as sustainable as possible 
  • Foster meaningful, mutually-beneficial partnerships, that are substantial and long-term 
  • Provide assistance with the planning of EWA activities including; Annual Awards, Milne Feeds Education series, Interschools and other activities as required 
  • Manage EWA’s social media pages, website, and content by uploading news, articles, and exhibit riders and events that occurred, etc. 
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain a range of marketing material (e.g. graphics, brochures, etc.) as required. 
  • Develop and distribute a weekly newsletter to EWA members. 

What we’re looking for

Candidates applying for this role must have the following:

  • Previous experience working in a communications and/or partnerships position 
  • Proficient and able to complete tasks across a variety of software programs and social media as required 
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship building and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to evoke the cooperation of key stakeholders
  • Goal oriented with an outcomes and performance based approach to achieving required tasks
  • Strong time management, presentation skills and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Preparedness to be flexible in respect to work hours
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • A current driver’s license
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance

Candidates with the following will be highly regarded:

  • Experience in budget preparation and periodical reporting and analysis
  • A tertiary degree in a relevant field or progression towards the degree or suitable experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of equestrian
