D'Arcy Slater Foundation Scholarship 2018 Winter Round

The D'Arcy Slater Foundation and WA Institute of Sport (WAIS) are pleased to advise that applications for the D'Arcy Slater Foundation Scholarship 2018 winter round are now open.

WAIS has been approached once again by the D'Arcy Slater Foundation to facilitate the sport scholarship program and is proud to be assisting the Foundation in their endeavours. D'Arcy Slater Foundation Scholarships are offered on a bi-annual basis, to ensure that both winter and summer sports have equal opportunity to be considered. Up to seven individual scholarships worth $5,000 will be awarded annually, together with up to one team scholarship worth $10,000 in our winter round.

Applicants are required to meet the selection criteria, which consists of

1. Personal qualities
2. The importance of their sporting goal in career pathway
3. Financial need
4. Financial status

Applications will be assessed by a selection panel, consisting of the three WAIS Performance Team Directors. All successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified.
