Stars shine and history made at glittering EWA Awards Night ceremony
In a glittering ceremony at Optus Stadium last Friday night, members of the equestrian community in WA came together to celebrate the major achievements of our home-grown sports stars and luminaries from sports under the EWA banner - Dressage, Eventing, Interschool, Jumping, Show Horse and Para-Equestrian.
The Awards honour those who have made an outstanding contribution to equestrian sport in WA as an athlete, coach, administrator, owner, club, event organiser or volunteer.
The stars of equestrian shone on the red carpet before the presentation of the awards took place, with Perth sports personality Tim Gossage the MC for the evening.
The event also featured a panel discussion with local star riders Sharon Jarvis, Tessa Lill and Chloe Gee, who provided a tremendous insight into their plans and aspirations moving forward.
A full photo gallery of the evening can be found by visiting the Equestrian WA Facebook page.
