Join Dr Andrew McLean as he demonstrates the principles of learning theory both in-hand and under-saddle for optimum performance and welfare of the horse. Understand what is required, how it is achieved, what aids to use so that none are ambiguous and the precise moments of when to apply them. Whether you are a competitive rider, pleasure rider, or coach, these principles will help set you up for success in all aspects of training and riding.

Dr Andrew McLean PhD (Equine Cognition & Learning), BSc (Zoology), Dip Ed is a winner of the highest Australian science award, the Eureka Prize for Science, and is in great demand as a trainer, coach and speaker. In addition to establishing the Australian Equine Behaviour Centre, he has written 5 books, including an international bestseller, and authored 35 peer-reviewed journal articles.
