EWA welcomes new appointed Directors to the Board

On behalf of the Equestrian WA (EWA) Board, we are pleased to welcome Kaisa Freeman and Jodi Moffitt as Appointed Directors following a comprehensive recruitment and assessment process.

Kaisa brings extensive experience in strategic leadership, governance, commercial growth, and brand development across agriculture, industrial and asset-intensive sectors. She has held senior executive roles with major organisations including Wesfarmers, Rio Tinto and MEI Group, and has significant board experience through her role as Director, Company Secretary and Risk & Governance Lead with the Roleystone-Karragullen Community Bank. Kaisa’s expertise in strategic planning, partnerships, organisational growth and governance, will be a valuable asset as EWA continues to strengthen its position and deliver value for members.

Jodi joins the Board with more than 18 years of leadership experience in the resources sector, where she has progressed from frontline operational roles to senior executive leadership positions. Currently serving as General Manager Integrated Remote Operations at Roy Hill, Jodi has extensive experience in strategy development, operational excellence, risk management, organisational performance and people leadership. She is also actively involved in the equestrian community as Secretary of the Eastern Hills Pony Club and brings a strong understanding of grassroots sport, volunteer governance and community engagement.

Collectively, Kaisa and Jodi bring expertise in governance, commercial strategy, major infrastructure and organisational performance. Their appointments complement the existing skills and experience of the Board and provide additional capability in several strategic areas identified as priorities for EWA's future, including financial sustainability, membership growth, and the ongoing development of the State Equestrian Centre.

We look forward to their contribution as we continue to build a strong future for our sport, and our members across the State.

Please join us in welcoming Kaisa and Jodi to the EWA Board.
