Equestrian WA Launches Inaugural Club Conference
Equestrian WA is excited to announce the inaugural Equestrian WA Club Conference, taking place on Saturday 1 August 2026 at the State Equestrian Centre, Brigadoon.
Proudly supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, this one-day conference has been developed to empower the volunteers and committee members who are the backbone of equestrian clubs across Western Australia.
Open to all representatives of Equestrian WA affiliated clubs, attendees can choose to participate in the full-day conference or attend the morning or afternoon sessions only, making it easy to fit learning and networking into their schedule.
Conference Topics
Participants will enjoy a full day of presentations and workshops, including:
- Attracting & Managing Volunteers
- Introduction to Club Governance
- Grant Writing
- Safeguarding presented by Sport Integrity Australia
- Q&A, Networking & Club Support
Governance sessions will be delivered by Evolve WA, covering practical topics to help clubs strengthen their operations, while Sport Integrity Australia will deliver an important safeguarding workshop to support safe and inclusive sporting environments.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with industry partners through trade displays and information stands throughout the day.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included, providing plenty of opportunities to network with volunteers and club representatives from across the state.

Every affiliated club that registers and attends will automatically go into the draw to win $250 cash for their club, with the lucky winner announced on the day.
