Equestrian WA Joins the Conversation on Brisbane 2032
Equestrian WA was pleased to take part in the recent strategic workshop hosted by the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS), which welcomed Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) President Ian Chesterman AM and CEO Mark Arbib to Perth.
Our CEO, Hamish, joined representatives from a range of State Sporting Organisations to explore how WA can play a key role in shaping the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
While the Games may seem distant, the journey has already begun — and it’s not just about our future Olympians. Equestrian WA is proud to ensure our sport is part of the broader discussion around legacy, pathways and community engagement. This includes creating meaningful opportunities for our volunteers, officials, clubs, and fans to be part of the Olympic movement in their own way — whether on the ground, in the arena, or in the stands.
As we look toward 2032, we’re committed to being a strong voice for equestrian in WA and to embracing the Olympic journey as a whole-of-sport opportunity.
