Congratulations Yvonne Ong, Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month!

Equestrian WA is proud to recognise Yvonne Ong as this month’s Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month, celebrating her extraordinary contribution to the sport over the past 25 years.

Yvonne has played a vital role in the growth and development of dressage in Western Australia, generously sharing her time, knowledge, and passion. She has served as a respected judge and a highly valued committee member, helping shape the discipline through consistent dedication and leadership.

For the past 17 years, Yvonne has also taken on the important role of Dressage WA Performance Medal Coordinator. In this role, she has diligently processed and checked every medal form received—an effort that has touched nearly every rider who has competed in WA dressage during this time. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding the integrity of the awards program have ensured it remains a valued and respected part of the sport.

Yvonne’s long-standing service is a testament to her love for dressage and her desire to give back to the equestrian community. EWA extends a heartfelt thank you to Yvonne for her remarkable volunteer efforts and the lasting impact she has made on the sport in WA.
