Congratulations Jenni Brown, Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month!

Equestrian WA is proud to recognise Jenni Brown as this month’s Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month, celebrating over 20 years of extraordinary service to our sport.

Jenni currently serves on three event committees as well as the Eventing Western Australia committee, and her impact across the community is immense. She has been instrumental at Swan River Horse Trials for five years, a driving force behind Future Eventers since its inception, and the backbone of Capel Horse and Pony Club for more than 15 years as Event Secretary and in numerous other roles. In 2025, she delivered Capel’s first FEI CCI event—an ambitious vision she conceived in 2024—creating vital qualification opportunities for WA athletes.

Jenni’s leadership reflects teamwork, integrity, inclusion and excellence. She mentors emerging volunteers, ensures events cater for riders from 50cm through to 4*, and works closely with Pony Club WA and Eventing WA to prioritise safe, enjoyable competition. Known for her calm control behind the scenes—even repairing burst pipes at midnight before competition days—Jenni consistently delivers high-quality events the community can rely on.

Without Jenni’s dedication, the WA equestrian landscape would look very different.
