Congratulations Jacinta Withoud, Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month!
Equestrian WA is pleased to acknowledge Jacinta Withoud as this month’s Horseland WA Volunteer of the Month, recognising her outstanding contribution to the sport over the past 15+ years.
Jacinta has been a driving force in the Eventing community, generously giving her time both as a volunteer and in an official capacity. She is widely respected for her exceptional organisational skills, positive attitude, and her tireless commitment to supporting events across the state.
One of Jacinta’s major contributions is the development and management of the Helper Duty Database, a vital tool that matches riders with helper roles at Horse Trials. This behind-the-scenes task requires countless hours of coordination, ensuring that events have the volunteers they need to run smoothly. Her efforts have made a huge impact, easing the burden on event organisers and enhancing the experience for competitors.
In addition to her work with the database, Jacinta also serves as a Technical Delegate, drawing on her deep knowledge of the sport’s rules and operations to support the safe and efficient running of events. Her friendly and approachable nature makes her a pleasure to work with.
Thank you, Jacinta, for your dedication and service to our Equestrian community.
