CARETAKER
Part time (0.6FTE)
As a Caretaker at the State Equestrian Centre, you will reside on-site in the comfortable single-storey Caretaker house, featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a well size enclosed yard.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate, with a portion of the salary allocated to subsidise the rental cost of the Caretaker house including bills.
Additionally, a rental agreement for the accommodation will be required.

STABLEHAND GROUNDSPERSON
Part time (0.6FTE)
Equestrian WA is seeking a motivated and hands-on Grounds & Facility Assistant to support the maintenance and presentation of the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon. Working closely with the Facilities Coordinator, this role ensures the stable block, arenas, wash bays, and general grounds are clean, safe, and event-ready at all times.
This part-time position (0.6 FTE) operates on a rostered schedule and includes tasks such as cleaning stables and common areas, waste disposal, basic grounds maintenance, and assisting with event setup. You’ll also contribute to the safety and upkeep of facilities and equipment, helping to deliver high-quality experiences for riders, spectators, and stakeholders.
Requirements include: a current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and previous experience in facility or grounds maintenance. Machinery experience and first aid certification are highly regarded.
