Congratulations Georgie and Sophie!

EWA would like to extend their congratulations to WA riders Georgie Siciliano and Sophie Ahmat, who recently took out the Team Award at the Australian Young Rider Championship.

They were joined by WA-born rider Sam Buchanan (now living in QLD) as there weren't enough WA riders at the event to make up a team of four. As per the rules, they were able to compete in a team of three, and ended up placing first. This was a great feat considering other teams had four riders! Georgie (above) also placed 5th in the individual placings.

The girls have kindly offered to donat their spare prize rug to the EWA office and it will be displayed proudly when it arrives.
