Barz Open, a 2011 gelding by Knowledge and out of Grey Force, didn't pursue a racing career but found his niche in eventing under the guidance of his racing owner and breeder, Glenys Leeson. Piloted by riders like Glenys, Kate Joyce, and even Olympian Sam Griffiths at the 2019 Eventing in The Park Diamond Class, Barz Open, affectionately known as Doodle, showcased his talent and quirky personality.

Chloe Gee took the reins in early 2020 and formed a strong bond with Doodle, supported by her family who surprised her with ownership of Doodle for her birthday. Chloe describes Doodle as affectionate and quirky, with a penchant for rolling in puddles.

Their partnership quickly garnered success across multiple disciplines, including winning the EvAJ 95 class at Wooroloo CCN and excelling in show jumping and dressage, claiming victories in up to 1.15m classes and various dressage championships.

Recent achievements include placing first in the CCN2*-S at both Brigadoon and Wooroloo CCN events in 2023 and securing second place at the Murrau Eventing CCN-S in the CCN2* category.
