Call for nominations – Equine Welfare Working Group

At a time when all horse activities are coming under the microscope Equestrian WA (EWA) has decided to re- establish an Equine Welfare Working Group.

This is to ensure that EWA can proactively advocate for the welfare interests of horses in sport.

Nominations are now open for individuals interested in joining the Equine Welfare Working Group, with three appointed positions available for those who will contribute suitable skills (Skills can range from a qualified steward, qualified TD, a veterinarian, etc) to the working group and compliment the representatives from each of the EWA sports committees.

Nominations are open until COB Wednesday 6 March.

Once the nominations have been received, the final composition of the working group will be determined by the board.
