Equestrian WA welcomes Kaeleigh Brown as our new Sport Development Manager

Equestrian WA is delighted to welcome Kaeleigh Brown in the role of Sport Development Manager.

Kaeleigh’s role encompasses operational delivery of the Interschool State Championships, the Off the Track Program (OTT) and coordination of the EWA High Performance Pathway including Rising Stars.

Originally from the picturesque South West town of Capel and with a strong family background in equestrian (her aunty is our very own Paralympian Sharon Jarvis!) - horses are a life-long passion for Kaeleigh - who was only four years of age when she first started competing in horse-riding.

Kaeleigh’s love for our sport and community sees her fulfilling a multitude of roles helping equestrian to continue to develop and grow across our state. She is currently Vice President of the Capel Horse and Pony Club Committee as well as being the Event Chairperson for their Event Committee.

Kaeleigh is also an active member of the Pony Club WA State Dressage Committee and recently became an Australian representative on the Pony Club International Alliance Youth Advisory Council.

Her contributions to the sport have seen her awarded the Volunteer South West Youth Volunteer of the Year and also receiving a Pony Club WA Citizenship Award.

Kaeleigh joins us after performing the role of Hockey WA’s Regional Member Coordinator for the South West, and also holds a range of other qualifications and experience in the sport and recreation sector.

Although Kaeleigh will already be familiar to many people within our community, you will no doubt see her out and about within the equestrian world here in WA and have the chance to engage and interact with her in the future.
