Perth Horse Trials – BGC Quarries Wooroloo International 3 Day Event 16-18 August 2019

Entries are open for Perth Horse Trials Association’s largest event of this season, Wooroloo International Three Day Event, which is held at Wooroloo Prison Farm on 16-18 August by kind permission of the Department of Corrective Services.

This international event hosts the only CCI-L4* class in WA, and is an important fixture for WA riders seeking to qualify for bigger Spring shows in Adelaide and over East.

Thanks to continuing support from BGC Quarries, further upgrades have been made to the spectacular Wooroloo cross country course with the excavation of a new water splash. This is in addition to the significant investment made last year when a $20,000 upgrade to the main cross country water complex was completed.

In 2019 PHTA has committed to upgrading medical cover for riders and spectators, with a dedicated trauma doctor on-site to support the event paramedics, in response to the new Safety Initiatives being implemented by Equestrian Australia.

Spectators are most welcome, entry is free with an excellent variety of refreshments for sale. There is also a trade stand village with vendors selling a wide range of equestrian goods. Changes to the timetable for 2019 mean that spectators will be able to enjoy exciting cross country and show jumping action on both Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August. Dressage begins on Friday 16 August.

Entries are open for all classes for Wooroloo International Three Day Event from EvA65 to CCI-L4*  on www.ktrials.com.au.

The event is signed off Old Northam Rd, 8km from Chidlow/Lake Leschenaultia turnoff.
