MADAMCHINO

A 2015 mare by Maschino and out of Madam Jewel, Madamchino, showcases her eventing prowess despite a brief racing career with no placings in four starts. Under the guidance of Tessa Sharman, Madamchino, fondly called Rita, transitioned smoothly to eventing, impressing with her talent and attitude.

Rita's journey began with the Yuill family at Limerick Park, who recognised her potential and sought the perfect match for her second career. Tessa, impressed by Rita's movement and upbringing, acquired her with admiration and enthusiasm, overcoming hurdles like Rita's emergency surgery post-racing.

Their partnership flourished, with Rita excelling in dressage, earning praise as the most talented horse Tessa has ridden on the flat. Rita's jumping ability, though developing, showcases her bravery and athleticism, promising a bright future in eventing.

Recent achievements include placing third in Elementary and second in Medium at the Gidgegannup Dressage Official Autumn Competition. 

Rita's endearing personality, described as both sweet and spicy, has endeared her to Tessa, embodying the essence of a true equine partner. Rita's progress reflects not only her talent but also the dedication of those involved, from her former owners to her current caretakers, fostering her journey from the track to the eventing and dressage arena's with pride and anticipation.
