How you will assist us in growing our sport
Based at the State Equestrian Centre (SEC), the Booking and Events Officer position is a part-time role (0.6FTE) which is varied and diverse.
This position shall be responsible for the facilitation and of events booked at the SEC, this includes a strong focus on internal and customer relations. This role is the central point of contact for all event and booking enquiries related to the SEC.

You will be responsible to build, maintain and manage strong working relationships and communication with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support all aspects of the delivery of this valued service.
An important aspect of the role is to ensure the highest public perception is maintained, and drive identified key projects within the EWA Strategic Plan.

What we’re looking for
Candidates applying for this role must have the following:

  • Communication and marketing skills
  • Project management experience
  • Refined organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Desired experience managing functions and/or equestrian events from inception to completion
  • Demonstrate superb organisation skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, sponsors, vendors and can stay calm and pleasant under pressure
