Official message from the Minister of Sport and Recreation

As the end of 2023 nears I just wanted to personally thank you and your team for the work you have put in so that your sporting code can continue to develop and prosper. I know so much effort and time is committed by so many people associated with your sport, much of that by magnificent volunteers.

The beauty of community sport is that it engages people, ensures people have a sense of belonging and ensures our children and young people can continue to develop their skills and appreciation of their sport.

To all the volunteers In your organisation I simply say, Thank you. You are an integral part of the strong, resilient and positive community we are all building and you make a difference every day.

To you and your family I send you my warmest wishes for the holiday season! I look forward to working with you and your code of sport in 2024.
