The members of the WA Para Equestrian Team, who have just returned from the inaugural Equestrian Australia National Para Equestrian Championships in Sydney where they were very successful, wish to recognize the invaluable contribution of their major sponsor – Combined Transport.

Since 2005, Wayne Kiely has generously transported our horses to the Eastern States to compete at first, in the RDAA National Dressage Championships and now, in 2009, in the EA National Para Equestrian Championships. The successes that the riders have enjoyed since 2005 have been in no small way due to the excellent condition in which the horses arrive at the competition. In addition, we would find it difficult to fund the cost of transporting the horses to the Eastern States and probably would not be able to field a team, without Combined Transport.

The team at Combined- John Kane, Matt and Bridget has been tremendously helpful in organizing some complicated transport within NSW and Victoria. At all times we were kept notified of where our horses were and of their estimated time of arrival. They even contacted the team to find out how they were faring in the competition.

We are extremely fortunate to have Combined Transport in WA – no other riders at the Championships enjoyed the support that the WA riders do.

Thank you Wayne Kiely and Combined Transport and thank you John, Bridget and Matt.

The riders would also like to extend appreciation to EWA and to RDAWA.

Hamish, Vanessa, Meredith and all the staff at EWA were very supportive. There was considerable paperwork for Meredith to get organized so that our horses could compete and Vanessa got shirts and badges made for us in record time. We received many compliments regarding our outfits.

All members of the team are RDAWA members as well as EWA members and RDAWA, again, generously provided some financial support to help fund the riders to attend the Championships.

Thank you to all our supporters for your support and continued interest.
