Position Available - Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of communications, marketing, advertising, fundraising and promotional activities for both EWA and the State Equestrian Centre. This is a dynamic role covering all aspects of the organisation’s marketing functions including:

  • Providing input on marketing, communications and fundraising initiatives and strategies.
  • Coordinating the implementation of marketing activities including scheduling, production, publishing and reporting.
  • Updating, maintaining, and creating website content.
  • Developing and monitoring email campaigns, as well as execution and reporting on other digital marketing initiatives and administration tasks.
  • Producing and managing Facebook page content.
  • Producing event, campaign and organisation collateral.
  • Liaising with designers, printers, suppliers, distributors and sponsors with the production of marketing materials.
  • Implementing initiatives to increase service and brand awareness.
  • Ensuring that all marketing activities are completed within the organisation’s style guidelines.
  • Liaising with the CEO and Events & Business Development Officer to ensure that sponsorship packages are carried out in accordance with contractual arrangements.
  • Assisting with phone and over-the-counter venue bookings, membership enquiries etc.

Skills & Experience

  • Marketing qualifications and/or 2+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, EDM platforms (Campaign Monitor/Mail Chimp), website management, Facebook page management etc.
  • Experience in sponsor sourcing and management.
  • Experience in social media platform management.
  • Dynamic, adaptable and able to work independently and autonomously.
  • Proven experience in handling multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
