PollyAnn Huntington wins EA Official of the Year
Equestrian greats and enthusiasts joined award finalists, their families and friends as well a host of industry members at Showtime in Melbourne on Friday 5th June to recognise the sport’s highest achievers of the past 12 months. Nicole Livingstone, Australian former competitive swimmer, Olympic silver medallist and television and radio sports commentator was presenting the ceremony.
Equestrian Australia was pleased and honoured to host FEI President Ingmar De Vos as a special guest of this year’s Sport Achievement Awards Night.
Among those to receive an award was WA nominee PollyAnn Huntington. PollyAnn is a A level dressage judge, a judge educator and mentor, as well as an Eventing FEI 4 star judge, EA level 3 star judge, and an FEI technical delegate. 2014 was once again a very busy year for Pollyann where she officiated at the Sydney and Blenheim International Horse Trials. PollyAnn is a member of the Eventing WA Committee, and also assists the Dressage WA Committee with implementing new rules. Pollyann has been instrumental in starting up several clubs in WA especially for young riders.
EWA would like to congratulate PollyAnn on her selection for an EA Sport Achievement Award.
