2018 Rising Stars Development Program

Rising Stars is back again for 2018!

The Rising Stars Development Program has now been running successfully for two years. This Program aims to work closely with the best young equestrian talent in WA to provide a pathway for young riders aspiring to reach the ranks of the EWA High Performance Program and perhaps also National Selection sometime in the future.

2017 saw 55 riders accepted onto the Rising Stars Development Program offering varied lessons with our NCAS coaches and valued presenters, along with Educational workbooks, held at the State Equestrian Centre. A survey was sent to all Rising Stars Squad members and the results exceeded EWA's expectations. Over 85% of riders found the overall program excellent, 10% found it very good, and 5% found it good. There was a lot of positive feedback relating to all subjects held. With this in mind 2018 timetable is looking busy again.

In 2018 the Rising Stars Development Program will be increasing the age limit from 17 years to 21 years (Athlete can turn 21yrs in the 2018 calendar year).
