Kentaur WA Jumping Young Masters Leaderboard

Current Standings (19.09.18) 

This competition attracts children and youth to compete in an age-specific series. It is envisaged that there will be 10 qualifying events throughout WA, therefore, encouraging metropolitan riders to support the country events in order to gain points and at the same time giving country riders the opportunity to ride in these events without travelling to Perth.

Event Guidelines

There will be three separate Kentuar Australia Young Masters Series events:

  1. Kentaur Young Master Series- 80cm – Riders Under 21yrs
  2. Kentaur Young Master Series -1m – Riders Under 21yrs
  3. Kentaur Young Masters Junior Jumper – Junior Riders as per EA Jumping Rules

The classes are to be run under Article 238.2.2 (Article 245.3 may be included at the discretion of the organising committee)

Kentuar Australia in conjunction with EWA Jumping Committee reserves the right to modify, alter or change any of the Amateur Series Guidelines at their sole discretion, with or without notice to its affiliates.

Class Entry

  • All qualifications are awarded on a Horse/Rider combination.
  • Horse/Rider combinations competing in Official Classes (including junior) may not compete in the 80cm Young Masters classes at the same competition.
  • Junior Jumper - Horse and Rider must be EWA registered, the rider age is from the beginning of the calendar year in which they turn 12 years up until the end of the year in which they turn 18 years, min height 1.00 Max height 1.15m.
  • Young Masters Riders 21 years and under - Rider must be EWA registered, events are open to riders who are under 21 years of age riders are eligible until the end of the calendar year they reach 21.
  • All Riders 21 and under are able to compete in the YM 80cm and 1m.

Leaderboard

Jumping Young Masters will include leaderboard 3 categories:

  1. Kentuar Australia Young Master Series- 80cm – Riders Under 21yrs
  2. Kentuar Australia Young Master Series -1m – Riders Under 21yrs
  3. Kentuar Australia Young Masters Junior Jumper – Junior Riders as per EA Jumping Rules

Points to be awarded 1st – 6 points, 2nd – 4 pts, 3rd – 3pts, 4th - 2pts and 5th – 1pt.

A tally of points will be advertised on the EWA website.

Prizes

  • Prize money for the YM 80cm and 1m qualifiers is to be a minimum value of 1st - $30, 2nd- $20 and 3rd $10.
  • Prize money for the Junior Jumper qualifiers is to be a minimum of 1st- $60, 2nd- $40 and 3rd - $20.
  • Entry Fee YM 80cm and 1m $10. Junior to the organizers’ discretion.
  • Ribbons will be provided by each club.
  • Winners of the leaderboard will receive prizes to be presented at the EWA Annual Awards night. In the event of a draw, the award will be presented to both winners.
