EWA Milne Feeds Education Seminar: Different Hays Explained

Join Milne Agrigroup Equine Nutrition Advisor, Michelle Meylan, for a seminar on the different types of roughages available in Western Australia and how they can fit into your horse's feed plan. Topics to be discussed include:

  • Which hay types are best suited to different dietary issues
  • Starch and sugar content explained
  • Analysis and sampling of hay
  • Rye Grass toxicity
  • The facts on soaking hay
  • Q&A

Milne Feeds is committed to providing complete nutritional support to Equine customers, so Michelle spends her time working individually with horse owners and trainers to devise the best feed plans for their horses, whether it be for the backyard pony, or young growing horses on commercial breeding farms. Michelle works closely with Kentucky Equine Research (KER) to keep up to date with the latest developments in equine nutrition and feeding management, and regularly travels overseas to expand her knowledge. Michelle is also currently undertaking a Bachelor Degree in Equine Science.
